Farmers Market Representative – Substitute.

Role Overview

Lively Up Kombucha is Michigan’s Craft Kombucha brewery with a presence in large and small retailers across Michigan. Built on a reputation of integrity, flavor and innovation; we are looking for a results-driven, outgoing, and self-motivated Farmers Market Representative to join our team.

 

This person will be responsible for traveling from company headquarters to farmers markets consistently and on time, setup and tear down of products and display and handling all transactions.

 

This specific position will be a cross between our Fulton Street, Holland and Muskegon Farmers markets primarily on Saturdays with consistent weekday availability (Wednesday and Fridays), substituting in for market slots not currently on calendar.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Carry in-depth knowledge of Lively Up’s product line

·       Travel to and from company headquarters to farmers markets on-time.

·       Setup and tear down products and displays

·       Active customer engagement and sampling

·       Handling all transactions with cash, card and with honesty and integrity.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record

  • Access to personal vehicle. Company vehicle occasionally available.

  • Comfortable with lifting and moving heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs).

  • Strong communication skills, outgoing and charismatic. Handling small talk while multitasking.

  • Passion for craft beverages and healthy lifestyle is a plus.

Job Types: Part Time
Contract length: 6 months (May-October)

Pay: $17/hour + tips + end of season bonus

Expected hours: minimum 9 hours/week, up to 24 hours/week. 2-3 saturday’s a month

 

Schedule:

Mandatory Saturday availability at 630am – 2:00pm , 2-3 saturday’s a month.

Options for Wednesday and Friday Markets

Locations include Fulton Street, Holland and Muskegon Market.
